STUDIO POLICIES

Mission Statement

My goal is to build grace and confidence and to cultivate a love of music and dancing in each student. In a fun and positive environment, we will learn the basics of ballet and improve performance ability. We focus on modesty of dress and movement and stress positive interactions.

Cost

The cost for the entire fall session is $100 with a recital fee that will be decided at a later date. This payment can be made in full on the first day or broken up into monthly payments of $25, with the recital fee due the first week of October. The recital fee WILL NOT be over $25. If you make the choice to do monthly payments it is due the first class of every month. You WILL be charged for missed classes. Make checks out to Elizabeth Oliphant, NOT the studio.

Attendance

Please drop off and pick up your student on time every week. This is very important to help me make the most of the class time. Please let me know when your dancer will not be in attendance for any reason. There will be no make-ups and payment is still due for missed classes. Classes will be held at my home, 931 West 8th Place Mesa AZ 85201

Dress Code

Dancers should wear the following to each class:
1.Leotard (black and with no attached skirt)
2.Tights (pink or white)
3.Pink Ballet Slippers (until they get shoes, they may dance barefoot or in socks; Do not purchase the little ballet slippers that resemble house shoes. Those shoes are inappropriate and unsafe for dancing)
4. Hair should be out of the face
If you can not wear the recommended attire, please dress your dancer in comfortable shorts, t-shirt, and socks.

Expectations

Please remind your dancer that she must show respect to my home and to the other dancers,as well as to the teacher. Please help your dancer to use the restroom BEFORE coming to class. When you are coming and going from dance class please be courteous and cautious of other cars in the neighborhood

Please call or email with any questions or concerns that you may have.
